It’s pretty obvious having five completely paid off investment properties in retirement will bring in a lot more passive income than just one.

However, it’s unlikely you’ll be able to cover the losses from 5 properties on your income alone.

What we need is another source of income to balance the losses generated by our buy-and-hold properties.

Your buy-and-hold investment properties aren’t always going to lose money, one day in the future, the rent will increase and the loan will decrease to a level where the rent will cover the outgoings.

That is the aim for our buy-and-hold investment properties.

But we need an income stream to cover these negative cashflow years, and that’s where my strategy comes in.

By using short-medium term, positive cashflow property investments to counter the negative cashflow of your buy-and-hold investment properties.

Which means you’ll have more of your cash in your pocket, to aquire more buy-and-holds.

Once this happens you then become the driver of your financial freedom, your property investments are now a fully functioning, profitable property development company.  And you are the CEO.
